What is the Hirshberg Foundation Memorial & Tribute Fund?

At the Hirshberg Foundation, our motto is 'You Can Hope or You Can Help.' We are asking for you to HELP. By creating a Memorial & Tribute Fund, you can honor or memorialize someone who has been affected by pancreatic cancer and HELP find a cure at the same time.

Create a Fund

	Honor or Remember Someone Honor or Memorialize someone you love by collecting money in their name. It's an ideal way of enabling friends and family to remember a special person.			Celebrate Ask friends and family for a donation in lieu of gifts for a birthday, wedding, anniversary or birth. This is a wonderful way to bring meaning to a special occasion.
	Sporting Event Run a marathon or walk a 5K, complete a triathlon or climb a mountain. While you are training, raise pledges with a personal fundraising page.			For Everything Else You can create a fund for any reason, event or occasion. Be creative. Lose weight, Shave Your Head, Quit Smoking. Accomplish something and help find a cure for pancreatic cancer at the same time.

Start HELPing

1. Once you have decided what type of fund you want to create, sign up for an account. (It's free.)
2. Enter the name of the person you wish to honor. You may also enter a city and/or a state to help website visitors locate your page.
3. Create your Fund page by adding text and uploading pictures of your loved one. You may upload up to 10 pictures. You can also use the default picture.
4. When you are happy with your page, email your friends and family to let them know the page is active. They can then add their own appreciations to your page.

NEXT STEPS

Once a Fund has been created, you can manage your account. This includes:

1. Editing your current page
2. Creating new pages
3. Managing appreciations made to your page
4. Sending email announcements about your page to family and friends
5. Viewing donation reports made in honor of your page
6. Setting email notifications to those who donate or add an appreciation to your page
