Welcome!

As founder of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, my ultimate goal is supporting the ongoing efforts to find a cure for this disease. Now in our tenth year, the Foundation’s dedicated efforts have significantly raised awareness and understanding about pancreatic cancer, a disease that continues to be one of the most fatal and least funded of all cancer types. Our continued funding of basic and translational research is our chance to offer life extension, better treatment options and, eventually, a cure.

"You Can Hope, or You Can Help" ®

This is not only our slogan but our trademarked call to action. People affected by this disease can no longer passively sit back and hope for a miracle. We ask that you help in our fight to ensure everyone touched by this horrible disease has a better chance of survival and quality of life. Since we adopted this phrase, thousands of families have joined our efforts by raising money, volunteering and participating in the many events we sponsor such as the L.A. Cancer Challenge ( www.lacancerchallenge.com ).

We hope you too will join our relentless and passionate pursuit.

I encourage you to explore our web site and learn more about ways to Help! Pharmaceutical developments, clinical trails, funded grants and patient support are all here to inform and educate families touched by pancreatic cancer. If you don't find what you're looking for, please feel free to contact us directly. We are here to help.

Most sincerely,

Agi Hirshberg

Founder
